Walk around the ring to check link ptrs. In most of the errors situation the functions will not give or even cleanly return.

Throws:

EMLINK null pointer found in ring link.

Parameters:

ring - (IN) Ring to be checked
offset - (IN) offset of structure s_ring

Returns:

1 if OK, 0 and errno if faulty.
